Only one game to follow tonight with Mineola on the road at Howe, where the Yellowjackets have built a 42-7 lead at halftime.

Alba-Golden started its compressed district schedule last night with a 38-12 loss at Honey Grove.

Quitman has its regularly scheduled bye this week.

Mineola opens the second half with an easy scoring drive and it's 49-7.

Jackets on the board again and it's 56-7 still in the 3rd quarter.

End of third quarter MHS 56, Howe 7.

Now 63-7 Mineola.

Mineola starters getting a break but the offense keeps rolling. Mineola leads 70-7. 6:04 left to play.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Come on over to Mineola’s beautiful Historic Select Theater and hear the Lake Country Symphonic Band’s Christmasy “Everything Christmas” concert.

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
