Geneva Lee Hayden Rogers, 1937-2020

Geneva Lee Hayden Rogers, 82, of Quitman, formerly of Oklahoma City, passed away on March 26, 2020 in Quitman. Graveside service was held at noon, Saturday, March 28, 2020 in the Fields Cemetery in Porum, Okla.

Geneva was born on October 10, 1937 to Rees and Gussie (Poole) Hayden in Porum. She worked for many years as a public school teacher.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Martin Glisson; sisters, Evelyn Moore and Estella Maxey; and brother, Rees Hayden.

Surviving family includes, her son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Rebecca Glisson of Eustace; grandchildren, Keith Glisson II, Hannah Farmer, Sarah Rose Pepper, Rex Glisson, Lindsey Glisson and Roy Glisson; and 10 great-grandchildren.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
