Giving Trees set up for C&S toy drive
Giving Trees have been placed for the Mineola Caring & Sharing community toy drive, now in its 25th year.
Ornaments on the trees have the gender and age (up to 12) of the child. Participants may purchase a game or toy valued at at least $20 and return to the tree by Monday, Dec. 4.
Locations are Mineola City Hall, chamber of commerce, Kitchen’s, Methodist Ministry Center, First Christian Church and East Texas Twisters.
Last year more than 200 gifts were bought.
