Guilty plea results in prison sentence
The following guilty pleas were heard in 402nd District Court Dec. 20.
Jeremy Keith Sanchez, Hallsville, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, second degree felony, five years in state prison with 623 days credit for time served, $1,000 fine; possession of a controlled substance penalty group one four grams or more but less than 200, second degree felony, five years in state prison with 328 days credit for time served, concurrent with prior sentence; assault causes bodily injury, Class A misdemeanor, dismissed.
