The following guilty pleas were heard in 402nd District Court:

Aug. 4

Kyle Demarico Jackson, Kilgore, possession of a controlled substance penalty group 1-1B less than one gram, state jail felony, 12 months in state jail with 202 days credit for time served, $500 fine and $290 court costs.

Darrell Louis Scott, Winnsboro, failure to comply with sex offender registration, second degree felony, 18 years in state prison with 368 days credit for time served, $5,000 fine.

Nathaniel Lee Hurtzig, Mineola, possession of a controlled substance penalty group one four grams or more but less than 200, second degree felony, five years in state prison with 604 days credit for time served, $1,000 fine; second charge dismissed.

Luis Antonio Herrera, Sulphur Springs, assault causes bodily injury of family/household member impeding breathing/circulation, third degree felony, five years in state prison with 323 days credit for time served, $1,000 fine.

Amanda May Knutson, Sulphur Springs, hindering apprehension or prosecution of a known felon, third degree felony, deferred adjudication, six years community supervision with 160 hours community service, $1,000 fine and $290 court costs.
