History unveiled
A bit of Mineola history was revealed last week when road construction on Hwy. 69 (Pacific Ave.) removed the top layers of the highway surface and exposed the old brick street. Such streets remain intact just a block to the west on Johnson. This section is directly adjacent to the Mineola History Museum in the former post office, which has been closed by the virus restrictions.
