Holly Brook Ladies’ tea to host play on life of Fannie Crosby
“Lift Up Your Voice in Song” is the theme for the annual Ladies’ Friendship Tea at Holly Brook Baptist Church on Sept. 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Dr. Shellie O’Neal will present her one-woman play on the life of Fannie
Crosby, one of the world’s best-known hymnists. She wrote “blessed Assurance,” “To God be the Glory,” and other well-known songs.
Lunch will be served, to be followed by a surprise presentation. Tickets are $10 per person and are available in the Family Life Center on Sunday or at the church office during the week.
