Jeannette Hutto Pyle 1946-2023

Jeannette Hutto Pyle was born June 23, 1946 in Shreveport, La. to Inez Riser Hutto and Cecil Waylon Hutto Sr. and went home with our Shield and Savior Jesus Christ on June 20, 2023. She was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Louis. She is survived by her brother, Dr. Cecil W. Hutto, Jr. (Cathy); a double-first cousin, Sherry Riser; sister-in-law, Francine Evans (Tom); five nieces and nephews, Rachel Parrish (Brian), Ben Hutto (Amber), Megan Edwards (Josh), Steven Hutto (Kristina) and Corwin Hutto (Mandi); and 11 grand-nieces and nephews.

Jenny grew up in Shreveport. She graduated from Woodlawn High School and Northeast Louisiana State College with honors. Jenny was never satisfied with any grade less than an “A.” That pursuit of excellence extended to her professional career where she was a model of exemplary performance of her duties at each position she held.

She and Louis were residents of the Horseshoe Bend community for over 30 years and faithful, active members of Holly Tree Bible Church for over 20 years.

She loved the Lord, Elvis, her precious dogs, and Louis, of course.

Memorial service will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 3 p.m., Holly Tree Bible Church, 1620 South FM 2869, Hawkins.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to ASPCA in memory of Jeannette.
