Kiwanians donate for medical needs
The Mineola Kiwanis Club is giving back to the medical community during the COVID-19 crisis by giving $500 to three facilities that serve Wood County: Christus Trinity Monther Frances, UT Health in Quitman and Mineola, and Grace Community Healthcare in Mineola.
Additionally, Christus Trinity Mother Frances Foundation has created a COVID-19 Relief Fund to support the doctors, nurses and healthcare professionals who remain on the front lines.
Grace Community Healthcare will receive this gift of $500 in addition to the yearly donation it receives from Mineola Kiwanis Club.
Kiwanis President Kevin White stated, “We felt these healthcare facilities need our support at this time.”
