Kratzmeyer wins title, sets record
Mineola graduate and University of Texas-Tyler pole vaulter Abbi Kratzmeyer has extended her own school record during the Lone Star Conference indoor track meet.
Kratzmeyer won the conference title with a vault of 13’ 0.25” to win by more than a foot. She advanced to the final height with no misses.
The indoor championships were held Feb. 23-24 in Norman, Okla.
The Patriot women’s track team placed third in the meet.
