The Quitman Lady Bulldogs split softball games, losing a close one to Mt. Vernon on Monday, March 11 and winning big against Mt. Pleasant Chapel Hill on Wednesday, the 13th.

The Lady Tigers scored two more runs in the bottom of the third inning bringing the score to 4-1 in their favor. Both teams were shut out until Mt. Vernon scored again in the top of the fifth inning and sixth innings, leading Quitman 6-1.

Quitman came alive in the bottom of the sixth inning scoring four runs to bring the game to 6-5. Addison Marcee walked to start the sixth inning and Hannah Holland followed with a line drive to left field for a single.
