Lady Jackets forge tie for third
Kyra Jackson scores for Mineola against Mt. Pleasant Chapel Hill in last Tuesday’s regular season finale. The Lady Jackets took a 48-33 victory to force a third-place district playoff (see related story). Mineola lost the tiebreaker to face 11th-ranked Hooks in the first round of the state playoffs, and almost pulled off the upset, falling in overtime 51-50.
