Lady Panthers register bounce back victory
The Alba-Golden Lady Panthers came back from a narrow first-set loss to Cumby Friday to get the win in four games.
“We had a slow start and then decided to get to work,” said volleyball Coach Jamie Webster, who pointed to lack of communication.
After the 26-24 loss, Alba-Golden stormed back to win 25-15, 25-17, 25-9.
Top scorer was Erin Langtson, with a total of 20 for the four sets. She served 11 straight serves in set 4. Alexis Wilmut was next top server with 12 serves between all four sets. Kalli Trimble had 5 kills.
“Lainey Teel played a good defense at the net and Alyssa Murdock was on point with her passes,” Webster said.
