Lake Fork plays host to Berkley tournament
The 15th annual Berkley Bass Tournament is set to take place Saturday and Sunday headquartered at Lake Fork Marina off Highway 17 just south of FM 515.
Registration times are Friday from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday morning from 5 to 7 a.m. Anglers will be able to fish one day or both days with entry fees set at $160 for one day and $200 for both.
There is over $150,000 guaranteed in cash and prizes starting with $1,000 for first place through $200 for 10th place. For coming in 11th through 15th place the prize is an Abu Garcia reel and for 16th through 230th place anglers will win an Abu Garcia rod.
The heaviest bass over slot will win a Skeeter ZX-200 powered by Yamaha, MinnKota trolling motor and Lowrance electronics. For the angler catching the heaviest bass under the slot they will receive a new Skeeter ZX-190 powered by Yamaha, MinnKota trolling motor and Lowrance electronics.
There are prizes for “Exact Weight Bonus Catch” with $1,000 for exact weights of 2.5, 3.0, 9.0 and/or 10.0 pound bass.
During the tournament there will also be a Junior Division and a Women’s Division.
