Vote no on Senate Bill 1
To the editor:
The following message expresses my deep concern regarding Senator Bryan Hughes’ vote on Senate Bill 1.
Dear Senator Hughes,
I urge you in the strongest possible terms to vote no on Senate Bill 1.
I find it shocking that anyone would vote to direct state education money for use by an entity that would have no accountability to the State of Texas, the Texas Education Agency, nor a local elected school board.
Your constituents who support public education are counting on you to vote no.
Sincerely,
Betty Rutledge
