Marcee sets school record
The University of Arkansas-Little Rock men’s and women’s track and field teams opened the 2023-24 indoor season at the Crimson and Gold Invitational in Pittsburgh, Kan. on Saturday, Dec. 9. The Trojans finished strong with two first place finishes, thirteen athletes in the top five, and two new school records on the day.
In the women’s pole vault, Brooklyn Marcee from Quitman set a new Little Rock record with a vault of 3.83m (12-6.75) to finish tied for fourth and lead all Trojans.
