March primary filing continues
Filing continues through Monday, Dec. 11 for places on the Republican and Democratic Party ballots for the March 5 primaries.
In Wood County, the district judge, sheriff, tax assessor-collector, commissioners in Precincts One and Three and the four constables will be up for election for four-year terms.
At the state level voters will be choosing candidates for state and U.S. representative and one U.S. Senate seat.
Party chairs are Republican Kathy Workman at 903-714-3048 and Democrat Judy Traylor at 903-312-3315.
