Mary Elizabeth Taylor 1961-2022

Mary Elizabeth Taylor, 61, of Yantis passed away in Tyler on Nov. 26, 2022. She was born in St. Louis. Mo. on March 30, 1961 to Earl and Selmar Payne.

Mary married the love of her life, Ralph Gregory Taylor on March 3, 1984. Mary was an excellent cook and cooked amazing food. She was also very good at fishing. The Taylors moved in 2014 from Hutto and settled down in Yantis. Mary was retired from Professional Land and Title Company in Sulphur Springs.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Selmar Payne.

Left to cherish her memories are her loving husband, Ralph Gregory Taylor; her brother, Christopher George Payne; and her sister, Margie Ann McDonnell.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 2, 2022 at Yantis Cemetery in Yantis. There will be a visitation held before the service at Lowe-Gardner Funerals and Cremations from 12:30-1:30 p.m.
