Mineola police cite five for egg-throwing
Four juveniles and a 17-year-old identified as being from the Grand Saline area have been issued 15 citations for criminal mischief following a series of egg-throwing incidents in Mineola on Sunday, March 17.
Mineola police dispatch began receiving a series of calls for eggs being thrown at vehicles from a pickup described as a black Toyota Tundra.
Incidents were reported in the areas of E. McDonald St. at Loop 564, Wigley St., Minwood St., and E. Graham St.
A news release from the department credited “good old-fashioned police work” for helping to identify the suspects and issue the misdemeanor citations.
