12:43 a.m. A verbal disturbance between family members was reported on North Line Street. When officers arrived, one subject had left the property on foot after hitting a vehicle with another vehicle. The family member did not wish to file charges.

3:05 a.m. Several trucks were reportedly parked at the football field parking lot with several people standing outside their vehicles like they were going to fight. Officers responded to the area, but the vehicles were already gone upon the officer’s arrival.

3:14 a.m. Two reckless drivers were reported on West Broad running together, and occupants of one of the vehicles threw a beer bottle at the other vehicle. Officers attempted to locate the vehicles but they were unsuccessful. Wood County S.O. was notified.

9:30 a.m. Officers assisted EMS and the Fire Department with a medical call on Landers Street.

2:22 p.m. A reckless driver was reported eastbound on East Broad Street that was unable to maintain a single lane of traffic. An officer located the vehicle at the city limits and followed it. The officer did not observe any violations.

2:56 p.m. A credit card abuse was reported when a man reported his Valero card was used in the Dallas area for a large purchase of fuel.

4:30 p.m. A reckless driver was reported at Broad and Pacific Street. The complainant advised the vehicle would slam on their brakes in front of her. An officer responded to the call but did not locate the vehicle.

4:24 a.m. An officer assisted with a motorist that was stranded. The officer was able to get the man’s vehicle back on the road.

6:53 a.m. A man asked for assistance at his property just outside the city limits when he could see from his residence someone on camera at the entrance gate. An officer went to the location and stood by until a deputy arrived. The gate had been tampered with.

3:09 p.m. A theft was reported at Walmart. The vehicle was leaving the parking lot and the officer was able to get the suspect stopped. Shelby Elayne Adams, 22 of Mineola was a passenger in the vehicle and arrested for theft under $100 when the officer found the merchandise in her purse.

7:33 p.m. A reckless driver was reported on Hwy. 37 headed southbound into the city. The caller reported the vehicle all over the roadway. Officers were able to get the vehicle stopped at Taco Bell parking lot. Kenneth Earl Wilkins Jr., 42 of Mineola was arrested for DWI.

10:54 p.m. A resident on North Newsom Street reported his ex-wife seen on camera moving the camera around on his property. Officers responded, but did not locate the suspect.

Saturday, November 10, 2018

8:14 a.m. An officer assisted First Responders and EMS when a man collapsed at the Youth Foundation Park. The man was transported to a Tyler hospital.

11:36 a.m. A resident on Goodson Street reported she was having problems with a family member. An officer made contact with the family member and issued a directed patrol for the residence.

1:54 p.m. A customer at Walmart reported a man approached her in a white pickup and made inappropriate comments and exposed himself to her while sitting in his pickup.

1:58 p.m. A customer at Walmart reported a man in a pickup approached her and made inappropriate comments and exposed himself to her while sitting in his pickup. This is under investigation. Anyone having information on the suspect involved in the incident, or who was a victim of his comments, contact the police department. According to video surveillance, he was in the parking lot for at least 45 minutes, from noon till 12:45p.m. The vehicle is a silver or gray S-10 pickup with a tool box.

3:42 p.m. A theft was reported at Goodwill. Betty Sheliah Rodgers, 46 of Pittsburg was arrested for theft with two or more previous convictions.

5:14 p.m. A welfare concern was reported at the train depot when someone witnessed a man being harassed by another man. An officer responded to the call and spoke with the alleged victim. The man said he was fine and denied being harassed by anyone.

November 11

9:49 a.m. An officer assisted EMS on a medical call on Meadowbrook.

2:21 p.m. A hit and run was reported in the Walmart parking lot. The suspect has been identified.

2:26 p.m. A woman reported a suspicious man following her in a store on NE Loop 564. The man was gone upon the officer’s arrival.

4:31 p.m. A hit and run was reported at Goodwill. This is under investigation.

5:21 p.m. A welfare concern was reported for a woman in the CVS parking lot when a vehicle was seen following her while she was walking. The vehicle reportedly left the parking lot and headed toward Lindale. An officer responded and gave the woman a courtesy ride to meet Lindale P.D.

6:11 p.m. A man reported his tire was damaged after crossing the RR tracks on South Pacific Street. Union Pacific was contacted and they sent someone to fill the hole on the tracks.

November 12

1:34 a.m. A large tree was reportedly down on East Broad Street. The officer determined it to be outside the city limits, but for the safety of the public the officer directed traffic until Wood County and TxDOT could report to the scene.

3:12 a.m. A man on Patten Street reported a woman at his door requesting to come in because it was cold outside. An officer responded to the man’s residence. The officer knew the woman lived on University Street and took her home.

3:00 p.m. An officer assisted EMS on a medical call on Loop 564.

4:04 p.m. A bank on West Broad Street reported a vehicle sitting in the parking lot for an extended amount of time. An officer responded but the vehicle was gone upon the officer’s arrival.

November 13

3:04 a.m. An attempted robbery was reported at the Valero on South Pacific Street. The clerk was outside when a young black male approached him with a handgun, wearing gloves with his face covered. The suspect went inside the store for a short period of time and came back out without getting anything, then left the premises on foot. The clerk was not harmed. This is under investigation. Anyone with any information should contact the Mineola Police Department or Crime Stoppers.

12:26 p.m. A welfare concern was reported for an elderly couple on Mimosa Street when neighbors could not get them to answer the door. Officers and fire department personnel responded to the call and found that the resident required medical attention, and he was transported to a Tyler Hospital by EMS.

10:05 p.m. A woman reported a vehicle burglary on Greenville Avenue. The vehicle was unlocked at the time. Two wallets with contents were taken from the vehicle. The officer found one wallet and contents while on the scene near the vehicle.

November 14

1:58 a.m. Officers assisted EMS on a medical call on Lakeside Place. EMS transported the resident.

11:07 a.m. A bicycle was found at Francis and West Broad Street. The bicycle was turned in by a citizen.

1:14 p.m. A resident on Elliott Street reported a man trespassing on her property.

3:48 p.m. Officers responded to Chaparral Street after dispatch received an open 911 line. EMS was contacted and the resident was transported to the hospital by EMS.
