June 24

12:58 a.m., alarm, N. Pacific, power still out, requested extra patrol.

1:33 a.m., information, Brenlind, 911 caller angry about power outage.

11:35 a.m., public assist, 300 Greenville, child car seat installation.

11:54 a.m., motor vehicle accident, N. Pacific at Greenville, two vehicles, no injuries.

4:42 p.m., suspicious vehicle, Kings Lane, vehicle parked in field since 7 a.m., officer advised not stolen and not in roadway.

4:53 p.m., disturbance, N. Pacific, male and female yelling, James Calvin Sampy, Sugarland arrested for theft, Hopkins County warrant, property owner came to PD about charges for damage to apartment.

7:40 p.m., alarm, W. Loop 564, Mineola ISD police notified.

10:23 p.m., unknown offense, S. Johnson, heard three shots, second caller also heard, others heard fireworks.

10:54 p.m., suspicious vehicle, N. Pacific, advised is vehicle from earlier arrest and is unoccupied.

June 25

9:30 a.m., public assist, W. Kilpatrick, pole fell, non-working phone line in driveway.

1:55 p.m., information, E. Blair, subject called and said he is kicking someone out and she is going to leave her child, wanted to know if she could leave child if he is not the father, heard two yelling about not wanting to take child.

3:07 p.m., found property, N. Johnson, license plate found under vehicle with dent in the back.

4:00 p.m., robbery, 100 blk Stone, subject robbed of $260 and back pack at gunpoint, two other suspects present.

6:06 p.m., reckless driver, 1100 blk Newsom, vehicle swerving, ran into another vehicle, unable to locate vehicles or damage.

6:49 p.m., welfare concern, 200 blk Francis, party concerned subject present who has assaulted victim, no contact made, neighbors have not seen or heard anything.

8:22 p.m., disturbance, N. Pacific, party said ex-girlfriend and another subject took tools from his pickup after he was arrested the previous night, property was returned and party left location.

9:38 p.m., welfare concern, 500 blk S. Pacific, male lying on side of road, unable to locate.

9:40 p.m., assist other agency, Read, medical call, justice of peace and funeral home contacted.

10:28 p.m., suspicious person, Bromberg, party advised marijuana being smoked in upstairs apartment, officer walked area and did not smell anything.

June 26

2:39 a.m., motorist assist, E. Broad, help motorist to obtain gasoline.

3:24 a.m., assist other agency, W. Patten, vehicle stopped matching description from hit and run in county.

7:30 a.m., information, N. Pacific at E. Broad, vehicle observed driving recklessly and speeding, unable to catch up to it.

9:20 a.m., motor vehicle accident, 100 blk N. Pacific, two vehicles.

10:37 a.m., theft, 100 blk Commerce, weed trimmer taken from pickup.

11:36 a.m., warrant service, Goodson Cir., Stephena Hasten arrested on blue warrant.

12:41 p.m., reckless driver, 700 blk Greenville, 18 wheeler all over road, citation issued.

4:54 p.m., assist other agency, W Loop 564, medical call, subject went with EMS.

5:08 p.m., welfare concern, Francis, Kenneth Wilkins arrested for violation of conditions of bond/protective order.

5:28 p.m., fraud, N. Line, subject scammed out of $60,000.

8:34 p.m., suspicious person, Landers, subject advised ex-husband called to say he was at residence, not supposed to be there, officers did not locate vehicle at residence.

10:46 p.m., suspicious person, Francis, security camera sent notification of someone at location, residence clear.

June 27

4:30 a.m., welfare concern, 500 blk Greenville, male and female walking in middle of road, unable to locate.

10:05 a.m., civil matter, Chaparral, reported as theft call, occurred in Grand Saline.

10:44 a.m., public assist, Lowe, vehicles parked on property subject is trying to mow, owners will not move them.

12:12 p.m., warrant service, 300 Greenville, Bryanna Michelle Etter arrested.

1:55 p.m., Mimosa, death notification.

5:57 p.m., civil matter, 300 Greenville, question for officer.

7:34 p.m., welfare concern, E. Broad, young boy crying, stated mother left him, reunited with father, officers unable to locate mother.

10:43 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville, request to speak to officer about prior incident.

11:22 p.m., suspicious vehicle, N. Pacific, subject previously arrested at location keeps driving by, directed patrol issued.

June 28

8:16 a.m., information, Patten at University, officer flagged down, someone needed to speak to officer.

10:10 a.m., public assist, N. Pacific, officer flagged down, subject will need to speak to the city.

3:57 p.m., theft, NE Loop 564, possible stolen vehicle.

6:00 p.m., information, W. Broad, vehicle repossession.

7:34 p.m., assist other agency, NE Loop 564, sheriff’s department looking for male subject, located in Mineola.

8:33 p.m., welfare concern, N. Newsom, subject with walker seems disoriented, returned to home.

9:12 p.m., assist other agency, N. Pacific, juvenile ran from subject, located and returned.

June 29

12:57 a.m., public assist, NE Loop 564, unlock truck cab in loading area.

8:21 a.m., alarm, S. Pacific, canceled by alarm company.

8:46 a.m., disturbance, E. Broad, two vehicles repossessed and subject refusing to turn over keys.

10:37 a.m., welfare concern, W. McDonald, directed patrol for unwanted foot traffic.

11:26 a.m., information, Lowe, subject driving by home, advised party to document, attempted to contact subject to issue criminal trespass.

11:48 a.m., theft, NE Loop 564, wallet missing from purse, found at home.

4:26 p.m., disturbance, W. Patten, man and woman fighting in street, female coming to station to wait for ride.

5:30 p.m., information, N. Line, subject in vehicle following young girls, attempt to locate.

5:36 p.m., information, 300 Greenville, subject reported person got access to bank account, advised getting fraud form from bank.

8:07 p.m., unknown offense, Greenville, subject on property trying to remove person from room, has criminal trespass warning, asked to leave and refused, left scene.

8:26 p.m., unknown offense, N. Newsom, subject loitering, possibly suspect from prior call, unable to locate, left vehicle at location, property owner advised to have it towed.

June 30

5:15 a.m., welfare concern, N. Pacific, subject needs someone to talk to, having issues with PTSD.

8:36 a.m., welfare concern, 500 blk Graham, child riding in street, unable to locate.

10:01 a.m., assist other agency, Mimosa, subject threatening self harm transported by EMS.

12:46 p.m., public assist, N. Pacific, assist with traffic for trash trailer being moved.

2:12 p.m., found property, 300 Greenville, credit card, arrangements made to return.

2:43 p.m., information, 300 Greenville, concern about plugged cleanout possibly flooding business.

4:19 p.m., alarm, N. Pacific, possible faulty alarm.

5:11 p.m., suspicious vehicle, N. Johnson, parked vehicle half way in roadway, removed.

5:31 p.m., motorist assist, 1000 blk N. Pacific, vehicle moved from roadway.

6:18 p.m., alarm, N. Pacific, district manager to contact store manager and alarm company.

7:14 p.m., information, 300 Greenville, female in lobby yelling about custody exchange.

8:50 p.m., found property, CR 2230, wallet found while moving.

9:18 p.m., suspicious persons, NE Loop 564, five people in store, possible intoxication, no offense occurred. 

Officers also made 37 traffic stops and answered 34 animal control calls from June 24-30.

July 1

2:33 a.m., assist other agency, McWhorter, female patient disoriented, transported.

11:18 a.m., escort, N. Pacific, funeral.

11:22 a.m., unsecured area, N. Newsom, storage unit open on RV.

12:02 p.m., public assist, 300 Greenville, subject picked up elderly male walking in Lindale, very confused, wife contacted and will pick him up.

12:38 p.m., found property, W. Kilpatrick, two baggies with crystal-like substance.

2:17 p.m., welfare concern, N. Line, no contact made.

2:45 p.m., information, 300 Greenville, subject contacted from prior call and is fine.

3:42 p.m., subject stopped, 1200 blk N. Pacific, warning issued.

4:11 p.m., suspicious vehicle, NE Loop 564, citation issued.

5:33 p.m., civil matter, 300 Greenville.

7:49 p.m., suspicious vehicle, W. McDonald, vehicle driving by residence several times, directed patrol issued.

8:02 p.m., drunken subject, S. Pacific at E. Broad, county looking for vehicle involved in disturbance, vehicle stopped, Victor Lopez Medina, Mineola, arrested for evading arrest, driving while intoxicated second offense.

8:25 p.m., found property, N. Pacific, can with crystal-like substance.

10:01 p.m., harassment, 1000 blk S. Pacific, no crime committed. 

July 2

1:19 a.m., suspicious vehicle, CR 2724, subject left for the night.

2:03, drunken suspect, N. Pacific, Jake Corley, Mineola, arrested for driving while intoxicated.

10:44 a.m., alarm, S. Pacific, building secure.

3:00 p.m., alarm, Sue, canceled by alarm company.

4:49 p.m., reckless driver, S. Pacific at city limits, speeding, unable to locate.

4:49 p.m., trespassing, Landers, subject advised suspect is at residence and not wanted there.

5:08 p.m., reckless driver, N. Pacific, Chase Dylan Butler, Edgewood, arrested for driving while intoxicated with open alcoholic container.

5:17 p.m., suspicious vehicle, Goodson Cir., two men in vehicle most of day, shows registered to that address.

6:41 p.m., assist other agency, CR 2210, medical call.

8:56 p.m., disturbance, E. Blair, parents fighting, verbal only.

9:17 p.m., reckless driver, E. Broad at city limits, two vehicles traveling in wrong lane, unable to locate.

9:49 p.m., theft, NE Loop 564, Slade Cole Whitson, Pittsburg, arrested for theft over $750 and under $2,500.

11:11 p.m., welfare concern, Goodson Cir., open 911 call, unable to locate.

11:36 p.m., welfare concern, Goodson Cir., medical alarm going off.

July 3

12:00 a.m., welfare concern, 1500 blk W Loop 564, two young females walking, taken to residence.

4:23 a.m., public assist, W. Buchanan, e-cigarette accidentally dropped in glass of water, making funny noise, threw in yard, not on fire, advised would put in outside container.

9:45 a.m., motor vehicle accident, 2200 blk N. Pacific, minor.

11:09 a.m., information, S. Pacific at Front, locomotive train derailment, no roadways blocked.

11:41 a.m., information, Wigley, vehicle repossession.

11:59 a.m., information, N. Line, subject wrote police report and sent to party, directed patrol issued.

12:55 p.m., information, N. Line, subject from prior report sent text, suspect advised to no longer have contact with subject.

6:12 p.m., civil matter, Sycamore, neighbor putting dead animals in bucket.

6:55 p.m., information, NE Loop 564, case for pickup.

7:16 p.m., suspicious vehicle, Lowe, vehicle checking water meters, not city vehicle.

8:59 p.m., reckless driver, Meredith, speeding, unable to locate.

10:42 p.m., city ordinance violation, N. Newsom, playing drums loudly, unable to locate.

July 4

12:08 a.m., vehicle stop/arrest, 1400 blk N. Pacific, Tristan Lee Wheeler, Quitman, arrested for driving while intoxicated, fuel pump nozzle still attached to vehicle.

2:11 a.m., alarm, 1800 blk S. Pacific, all appears secure.

11:53 a.m., public assist, W. Broad, pipes and chicken wire blocking alley, removed items.

4:30 p.m., motor vehicle accident, E. McDonald at Circle, one vehicle, driver transported to hospital.

6:38 p.m., city ordinance violation, W. Patten, young male driving 4-wheeler, unable to locate.

9:15 p.m., city ordinance violation, Graham at Ivey, fireworks, unable to locate.

9:44 p.m., city ordinance violation, 500 blk W. Buchanan, fireworks, subjects will be stopping fireworks.

9:47 p.m., found property, N. Newsom, cell phone, owner picked up.

10:47 p.m., city ordinance violation, McWhorter, fireworks, made contact.

10:50 p.m., city ordinance violation, N. Newsom, warning issued.

10:58 p.m., city ordinance violation,  Ivey at Graham, fireworks, warning issued. 

July 5

10:10 a.m., escort, N. Pacific at Loop 564, funeral.

10:50 a.m., public assist, 100 blk N. Johnson, remove debris from roadway.

12:17 p.m., found property, Pegues at W. Patten, credit cards and drivers license, property returned.

1:35 p.m., information, Sue, subject wants to speak to officer about scam. Directed patrol issued.

1:55 p.m., found property, N. Pacific, property left by subject for friend to pick up, taken to police station.

4:34 p.m., theft, W. Broad, subject cashed in lottery tickets, believed she was not paid full amount.

6:34 p.m., unknown offense, 200 blk E. Broad, unable locate mother, checking location in Tyler.

9:17 p.m., alarm, Baker, building secured.

10:27 p.m., suspicious vehicle, Miller at Hart, driver checking on property.

July 6

9:25 a.m., reckless driver, N. Hwy. 69 at Loop 564, unable to maintain lane, vehicle stopped, issued two warnings.

2:29 p.m., public assist, Maxine, loud vehicle, nothing heard.

4:56 p.m., theft, 300 Greenville, attempted to cash in lottery tickets, advised they had already been cashed, awaiting more information

6:38 p.m., animal control, NE Loop 564, dog locked in hot car, one female taken into custody.

6:54 p.m., assault, N. Pacific, subject assaulted by customer.

7:51 p.m., motor vehicle accident, NE Loop 564, two vehicles in parking lot.

9:09 p.m., suspicious vehicle, W. Blair, open car door reported, none observed.

10:33 p.m., information, Greenville, vehicle repossession.

11:09 p.m., reckless driver, W. Broad at city limits, westbound in eastbound lane, unable to locate.

July 7

2:54 a.m., information, CR 2312, follow up on theft.

1:20 p.m., suspicious vehicle, NE Loop 564, vehicle abandoned in parking lot, not stolen, will be towed.

1:34 p.m., fraud, Francis, referred to bank in Tyler,

1:41 p.m., motorist assist, 600 W. Broad.

5:08 p.m., fraud, referred to FBI in Tyler.

5:18 p.m., reckless driver, W. Hwy. 80, unable to locate.

8:24 p.m., reckless driver, N. Newsom, unable to locate.

9:53 p.m., found property, 300 Greenville, wallet found on road, owner from Quitman contacted.

Officers also made 88 traffic stops and 16 animal control calls from July 1-7.
