3:37 a.m. A resident on Graham Street reported someone had been in their residence. An officer responded to the residence and determined no one was in the residence. A directed patrol …

August 15

3:37 a.m. A resident on Graham Street reported someone had been in their residence. An officer responded to the residence and determined no one was in the residence. A directed patrol was issued for that residence and area.

11:01 a.m. A resident reported they had moved from a residence and the landlord is intentionally running the electricity up.

3:20 p.m. An officer assisted EMS and First Responders on a medical call at a business on Greenville Avenue. The man was transported by EMS.

5:29 p.m. A man approached an officer at a convenience store on East Broad Street and stated his wallet was missing or lost after two other people rode with him.

6:36 p.m. A disturbance was reported at a residence on South Street. Officers responded and determined it to be verbal over the reporting party’s child.

10:46 p.m. A disturbance was reported at a residence on McDaniel Street. Officers responded and spoke with the couple that was arguing. An assault by contact was reported, but the complainant did not wish to file charges. A waiver of non-prosecution was signed and a family violence report was completed.

August 16

2:26 a.m. Walmart reported juveniles in the store, riding the scooters and knocking merchandise off the shelves. An officer responded but the juveniles were gone upon the officer’s arrival.

2:15 p.m. EMS requested assistance at a residence on Krause Street. Officers responded and assisted EMS with getting a female to go to the hospital for medical treatment.

5:35 p.m. Derrikk Griffin, 24, of Mineola was arrested for a local warrant, no valid driver’s license and no proof of financial responsibility.

7:58 p.m. A family member reported a welfare concern for a resident on West Patten Street. An officer responded and spoke with the resident. He said he was fine and reported family issues that are civil.

10:05 p.m. A resident on Emily Street reported he thought he heard gunshots on a street behind him. Officers responded and checked the surrounding streets. Officers spoke with multiple residents that were outside, but no one else heard anything.

August 17

12:05 a.m. A disturbance was reported at a residence on Landers Street. A man reported his girlfriend would not give him his car keys so he could leave. Officers responded and determined physical contact was made by one of the residents. A waiver of non- prosecution was signed and the two separated for the night. A family violence report was completed.

1:04 a.m. An officer checked on a suspicious vehicle in the Brookshire’s parking lot. The man said he was trying to find a place to urinate. The officer advised him to find a public restroom.

1:23 a.m. Zarrag Alexander, 45, of Richardson was arrested for Public Intoxication. An officer checked on the subject walking away from a parked vehicle on South Pacific Street.

1:50 a.m. A subject reported his ex-girlfriend was threatening to take the vehicle that he just purchased, but he has not put the title in his name yet. The officer advised him this is a civil issue.

3:15 a.m. An officer reported three juvenile males walking behind the shopping center complex on NW Loop 564 and detained them. All three subjects were transported to one of the juvenile’s parent. A citation was issued for violation of curfew.

5:54 p.m. A caller reported a possible intoxicated female with children in the vehicle at the gas pumps, at a business on North Pacific Street. Officers responded to the location and spoke with the suspected individual. The officers asked for permission to search the vehicle and was granted. Officers located meth and marijuana in the vehicle. When the female was transported to Wood County Detention Facility, she had additional meth on her person. Ashley Nicole Wilson, 34, of Greenville was arrested for possession of a controlled substance, possession of Marijuana, possession of a controlled substance in a correctional facility, and two counts of child endangerment. Wilson came to Mineola for a child custody exchange.

9:37 p.m. Jerry Lee Tucker, 49, of Golden was arrested for a Dallas County warrant for Theft after he was stopped by an officer on Greenville Avenue.

August 18

11:05 a.m. Jewelia Leanne Munoz, 18, of Como, was arrested for No Driver’s License, No financial responsibility, and expired registration when she was stopped on West Broad Street for the expired registration.

August 19

12:18 a.m. A reckless driver was reported by a citizen on West Broad, headed eastbound. The caller reported the driver was moving back and forth in the lanes. An officer located the vehicle and determined it to be a paper carrier.

2:59 p.m. A man reported he had bought some water from a local store and one bottle of the water appeared to taste different. An investigator called the manufacturer and made arrangements to get the water tested.

5:02 p.m. A disturbance was reported at a residence on McWhorter Street between a male and female. The female took the keys from her boyfriend and the two were arguing over the keys. An officer responded and determined the problem to be civil. The two separated for the evening.

6:59 p.m. Brandan Kihapiilani Chai, 47 of Mineola, was arrested by officers at his residence for a felony warrant out of Wood County for Possession of a controlled substance.

7:16 p.m. Lora Russell Peavler, 56, of Mineola was arrested by officers at her residence for a Wood County warrant for Release of Surety bond on Possession of a controlled substance.

8:23 p.m. An assault was reported that occurred at a business on South Pacific Street. A female reported that another female hit her when they got into an argument. The alleged victim was not injured.

8:35 p.m. A disturbance was reported at a residence on Francis Street. Officers responded and spoke with the teenager that reported he got into an argument with his father. The teenager went to another relative’s residence.

August 20

3:04 p.m. A verbal disturbance was reported at a residence on Church Street. Officers responded and the male subject was requested to leave the property by the resident. An officer gave the male subject a ride to South Pacific Street.

5:54 p.m. A resident on West Patten Street reported a theft when a contractor took his deposit for a job, but could not get to it. The contractor agreed to refund his money, but has not.

9:18 p.m. A reckless driver was reportedly coming into the city that was failing to maintain a single lane of traffic. The vehicle was stopped by an officer and a warning was issued.
