Mineola vs. Winnsboro boys
Mineola boys have opened district play with a 3-0 start, including key wins last week over Mt. Vernon on the road Tuesday, 63-56, and at home Friday, 46-41 over Winnsboro. In each contest, the Yellowjackets closed out close games in the final minutes. Zane Strange hit two free throws with 32 seconds left against Winnsboro to help secure the win and open a 5-point lead. After a non-district game with Frankston Tuesday, Mineola travels to Chapel Hill Friday and Quitman on Tuesday before closing out the first half of district play Jan. 19, hosting Harmony.
