Mineola wins final regular season contest
Keke Martin (1) puts up a shot for Mineola in last Tuesday’s basketball regular season finale at Harmony. Martin scored and earned a bonus free throw. Mineola took the win 59-46 to finish with an 8-4 district record, tied for second place with Winnsboro. The Jackets advanced in the state playoffs as the second-place team and faced Redwater for the bidistrict title Tuesday night (Feb. 20) in Marshall.
