The Mineola High School ag department will get a new 2024 Dodge dually from Elliott Dodge Chrysler Jeep in Mt. Pleasant for $68,074.

The school board approved the purchase in a special meeting Monday.

The board had asked for additional bids when three of the four initially received were for single rear-wheel pickups rather than dual wheels.

The truck is available immediately, unlike those from other manufacturers that would have taken several months to order.
