Old 97’s to headline concert

The Old 97’s are set to headline the Sabine Stomp Music Festival at the Mineola Nature Preserve Saturday, Sept. 2.

The concert is one of the main events during the city’s yearlong sesquicentennial celebration.

Also on the bill are Texas Red Dirt pioneer Cody Morrow, up-and-coming artist Josh Ward, Lindale’s Chris Colston, popular Mineola band Blue Mudbone and Mineola graduate Jennifer Pisarcik.

General admission is $50 in advance and $60 at the gate. Parking is $10. VIP tickets are $150 in advance only. Presale tickets available online at http://www.outhousetickets.com/Event/Event22089/

Gates will open at 3:30 p.m. with the music to start at 4:30.

There will be vendors and food. Bring chairs and blankets.

No coolers or outside food or drink will be allowed, and no pets.

All proceeds will benefit the nature preserve, located at 1860 County Road 2724.
