The Mineola Yellowjackets face Pottsboro Friday night at 7:30 p.m. at Royse City ISD Stadium. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students. Texas High School Coaches Association, district, senior citizens and military passes are accepted.

The final production of the Lake Country Playhouse’s 2016 season will open this Friday at Select Theater in Mineola. Tickets are $15 for adults and $7 for students. Discounts are available for groups of 10 or more.

“The Best Christmas Pageant Ever,” written by Barbara Robinson, opens at The Talent Box in Wills Point this Friday at 7:30 p.m. Admission is $12.50 for adults, $10 for seniors and students and $7 for children 12 and under.

The Mineola League of the Arts is hosting their Christmas Bazaar this Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. The event is free to the public and will have crafts, snacks and artwork for sale along with free hot cocoa and cookies.

The United Methodist Women are sponsoring a Children’s Christmas Store this Saturday from 2-4 p.m. at the First Methodist Church Fellowship Hall in Mineola. The event is for children ages 12 and under and parents and guardians are asked to bring a shopping list for their children to assist Santa’s helpers.

The annual Mineola Christmas Tour of Homes is this Saturday from 1-4 p.m. Tickets are $10 and there are three properties to visit. The City of Mineola Landmark Commission sponsors the tour with the Mineola Junior Historians assisting the commission for the 19th consecutive year.

The Quitman-Lake Fork Kiwanis Club Christmas Parade is this Saturday beginning at 2:30 p.m. The theme for this year’s parade is “Old West Christmas.”

The Mineola Christmas parade is this Saturday at 5:30 p.m. The theme for this year’s parade is “Holly Jolly Christmas.”
