Passport Fair set Sept. 21 at Golden Post Office

To ensure U.S. citizens are prepared to travel, the U.S. Postal Service will be hosting passport fairs on Saturday, Sept. 21, at locations across East Texas. Appointments are not required, so customers are encouraged to show up early, as applicants will be served on a first-come, first-served basis until the applicant maximum capacity has been reached.

Due to the unusually large volume of passport customers at all locations, a cut-off time is sometimes necessary when wait times exceed hours of operation.  

The Golden Main Post Office at 5785 FM 779 will offer the service from 10:30 a.m.- 3:30 p.m, as well as the Post Office in Palestine.
