After a bye week, Mineola and Quitman football teams wade back into district play Friday night.
Mineola makes the long road trip to Fannin County to take on the Bonham Purple Warriors. Quitman takes on Edgewood in Van Zandt County.

Quitman and Mineola resume football Friday
After a bye week, Mineola and Quitman football teams wade back into district play Friday night.
After splitting its first two district games, Mineola makes the long road trip to Fannin County to take on the Bonham Purple Warriors.
The Warriors are coming off a 56-0 loss to Pottsboro Friday and are 0-3 in district play and 1-6 on the season.
Quitman takes on Edgewood in Van Zandt County.
Edgewood is 1-2 in district and lost to Troup Friday 45-21.
Quitman’s last action Sept. 29 was also against Troup, a 43-22 loss.
Both teams will be home the following week, with Mineola hosting Winnsboro and Quitman facing Arp.
