Quitman council names new law firm, judge
The Quitman City Council made some changes to the city’s legal department Monday.
The law firm Wyatt, Hamilton and Findlay, PLLC was selected to be the new city attorney.
Cass Robert Callaway was appointed as the new presiding municipal judge.
Janae Holland was appointed as an associate municipal judge. She also serves as Wood County Precinct Two justice of the peace.
The judges will be appointed at the next city council meeting on Nov. 16.
The law firm is scheduled to start work for the city on Jan. 1.
