Branch voting starts Oct. 25
Branch voting for the upcoming general election is temporary early voting set at different locations in the county. The hours are the same as early voting hours at the courthouse.
Wood County citizens that are registered 30 days before an election may vote by personal appearance at any of the open locations. No reason is needed and no applications form is used. A potential voter entering the early voting location will be asked to present his or her ID.
Branch voting will be held in Winnsboro Oct. 25-26 at the Winnsboro City Auditorium, in Hawkins Oct. 27-28 at the Hawkins Community Center, in Mineola Oct. 31 and Nov. 1 at the First United Methodist Ministries Center and in Holly Lake Ranch Nov. 2-3 at the Holly Lake Ranch VFW. Hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
