Quitman volleyball has rough going to start season
A young Quitman volleyball team has taken its lumps in the early going of the season. The team has only one senior, Sofia Tannebaum, who has not played in a couple years.
The Lady Bulldogs opened the season at home against Cumby and fell 25-3, 25-19, 25-3 in straight sets. The only players with varsity experience are juniors Ashley Davis and Addie Marcee.
The team traveled to play in a tournament at Nacogdoches Central Heights over the weekend and was winless.
They were set to play at Tyler Grace Community School Tuesday night and will travel to Van this weekend.
