Rehab project set on US 80
Motorists in downtown Mineola should prepare for delays and detours in the next few weeks.
Beginning Monday, Feb. 5, US Hwy. 80 (Broad St.) from US Hwy. 69 (Pacific St.) west to Cheek St. will get new pavement.
The first week, old pavement will be milled, including parking spaces and shoulders. The following week new hot mix asphalt will be laid.
The project is expected to take 2-3 weeks, depending upon weather.
During the project traffic is one direction will be reduced to one lane at various times.
