Restaurant Week in Mineola assisting library

Restaurant Week Feb. 12-18 will benefit the Mineola Memorial Library.

Featured restaurants will be offering select meals, with $5 from each order benefitting the library.

Those participating include Cowburners, Kitchen’s, Logan’s Place, Mack’s Split Rail, East Texas Burger, La Waffalata, The Line , Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut, Jorgie’s (at Mineola Golf Club) and Café U.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Come on over to Mineola’s beautiful Historic Select Theater and hear the Lake Country Symphonic Band’s Christmasy “Everything Christmas” concert.

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
