Rotary installs officers
The Mineola Rotary Club installed its 2023-24 officers and board members at a luncheon June 26. The new Rotary year starts July 1. Officiating was Past Rotary District 5830 Gov. Judy Guthrie of the Carthage club. Roy Shockey was installed as president, Lou Steele as secretary/treasurer and board members Jim Bailey, Cody Mize, David Sauer and Beth Shockey. The meeting also included the induction of new member D. Duane Dunk of Holly Lake Ranch. Shockey delivered remarks about Mineola Rotary’s continued activities and an overview of the past year’s activities of The Rotary International Foundation.
