Sheriff says no foul play in drowning
A 29-year old Mineola man drowned at Quitman Lake May 11. Cody Alan Alexander was found by a family at the county lake.
After an investigation, Wood County Sheriff Tom Castloo indicated there was no foul play and it was a drowning.
“After the autopsy and forensics it indicated this was a drowning,” Castloo said.
The International ALERT Academy dive team from the Big Sandy area was called in to help search the lake for possible evidence.
