The musical is presented by arrangements with Brent Peek Productions in New York. Directed by Kay Lamb, with music director Jeannette Peel and choreographer MarCordrie Collins, the show revolves around Cindy (played by Lanette Garza), who works at Suds but has no luck in life and love. It’s her birthday, and with the arrival of the postman things just go from bad to worse. Deciding to end it all, she is stopped by Dee Dee (Micah Graham) and Marge (Brandi Bridges), two larger than life characters that are more than meets the eye. Rounding out the cast are Micah Brooks and Jacob Hays, both playing multiple roles.
It’s a family friendly musical romp through some of the greatest songs of the 60’s, set among the backdrop of washers and dryers.
