Surplus sheriff vehicles going on auction block
Wood County commissioners moved swiftly through a short agenda Tuesday morning, May 30.
They approved the sheriff’s department request to use Purple Wave Auctions for the sale of surplus vehicles: 2016 white Dodge Charger (four-door), 2016 gray Ford Explorer, 2016 white Ford Explorer and two 2017 white Ford Explorers.
Commissioners approved an inter-local agreement with the Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) to make programs and services available to Wood County.
In one personnel matter, temporary help Stanton Corotan resigned in Pct. 3. Claims approved were payroll, $424,985; health and dental, $130,914; and accounts payable $583,557.
A road permit on Country Road 3230 was approved in Precinct 3 for timber recovery.
A revision of Lots 318 and 319, Section 4, Holly Lake Ranch Subdivision was approved at a public hearing.
Commissioners also approved the renewal of DebtBook Services for a term ending Sept. 30, 2025.
