Tax office reopens
The Wood County Tax office at 301 East Goode Street in Quitman is open with regular hours.
“We are requiring the social distancing and limiting the number of people allowed in the building at one time,” Tax Assessor-Collector Carol Taylor said.
There are a few adjustments for the substations for the month of May only. Mineola will be open Monday through Thursday. Winnsboro will be open on Thursday and Friday while Hawkins will be open on Tuesday only.
