TEEA members attend district meeting
Wood County members of the Texas Extension Education Association club recently attended and served as co-hosts for the District 5 cultural arts meeting in Tyler.
The meeting theme was “Summer Fun” and included handmade theme centerpieces by Wood County TEEA members, a cultural arts contest and project demonstrations. A business and planning meeting was held to discuss the East Region hosting the state TEEA conference in Plano in September. Betty Dubbs received a first place award in the Recycled Items Division and also had an entry in the Wall Art Division.
Membership in the TEEA Club is open to all. The club meets the second Thursday of each month at 1:30 p.m.
