Thomas C. Williams, 1938-2019

Thomas C. Williams, 81, of Quitman, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 22, 2019 in Tyler. He was born on May 9, 1938 in Fort Worth to the late Thomas C. Williams and Lena Joner Williams.

Thomas was a retired truck driver and was preceded in death by his parents and several brothers and sisters.

He is survived by his loving wife, Carol Williams of Quitman; sons, Donny Williams of Springtown, Calvin Williams of Palestine, Raymie Williams of Whitney and James Grimes of Terrell; one daughter, Theresa Brown of Wills Point; 17 grandchildren; and 24 great-grandchildren.

Visitation was Friday, Oct. 25, 2019 from 12-1 p.m. at Beaty Funeral Home, Mineola. Services followed at 1 p.m. at the funeral home with Bro. Gearld Gunstanson conducting. Interment was at Roselawn Memorial Garden in Mineola.

Special Olympics returns in style

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert
