Tree sales benefit youth camp

This is Wind Song Farm’s 11th year to donate all proceeds from the Christmas tree farm to East Texas youth.

Folks can cut a live Christmas tree and make a donation to the youth department at New Hope Baptist Church. Mail checks (no cash donations) to New Hope Baptist Church, 3855 FM 1801, Mineola, TX 75773.

All proceeds will go to New Hope Baptist Church for summer youth camp. Church youth will be at the farm to help on Saturday, Nov. 25 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

If unable to come on the 25th, stop by any day, but call 903-316-7676 before coming.

Symphonic band presents Christmas concert

Come on over to Mineola’s beautiful Historic Select Theater and hear the Lake Country Symphonic Band’s Christmasy “Everything Christmas” concert.

Concerts are Sunday, Dec. 17, at 2 p.m. and Tuesday evening, Dec. 19, at 7:30 p.m. Mike Holbrook is back in the director’s seat, so it’s sure to be a fun-filled couple of hours.
