UT Health East Texas Physicians in Mineola has expanded its medical staff with the addition of family nurse practitioner Stacie Cameron, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, CWS.
As a certified family nurse practitioner and certified wound specialist, Cameron says her care philosophy “is to provide the best care to my patients by staying current with advancements and changes in healthcare. My goal is to practice evidence-based medicine and provide my patients with accurate information about their diagnoses and treatment options.”

UT Health East Texas Physicians in Mineola has expanded its medical staff with the addition of family nurse practitioner Stacie Cameron, DNP, APRN, FNP-C, CWS.
As a certified family nurse practitioner and certified wound specialist, Cameron says her care philosophy “is to provide the best care to my patients by staying current with advancements and changes in healthcare. My goal is to practice evidence-based medicine and provide my patients with accurate information about their diagnoses and treatment options.”
A passion for caring for others led her to a career in healthcare. “I want to ensure patients in rural communities have access to the healthcare they deserve and need,” she said.
She earned her practical nursing diploma from Northeast Louisiana Technical College in Winnsboro, La., and her associate degree in nursing from Excelsior College in Albany, N.Y. In addition, she earned her bachelor’s degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix and her doctor of nursing practice from Loyola University in New Orleans.
