Wood County adds 15th case of COVID-19
The latest statistics from the Northeast Texas Public Health District show Wood County with 15 cumulative confirmed cases of COVID-19, with the latest addition in Hawkins.
The Texas Dept. of State Health Services lists Wood County as having 156 citizens tested for the viral disease. An additional public testing was being conducted Monday in Mineola.
Wood County has added one case each weekday since last Wednesday.
The dashboard was updated on Monday to show that nine of the cases are recoveries, the same number as last Friday. A tenth recocery was added Tuesday, and the dashboard showed no changes on Wednesday.
Total tests reported by the state rose to 162 on Wednesday.
