November 16

Deputy Rapp, criminal trespass; caller caught someone on property on game camera, no one in the area knew the individual, deputy still awaiting photos. 

Deputy Kovic, protection order violation; caller believes ex had come onto property who has protection order, later discovered caller had already made report, will be forwarded to investigations.

Four animal calls, one agency assist.

November 17

Sgt. Cox, animal complaint, FM 49; property owner advised cow had been on property for a month, could not locate owner. After contacting someone to remove cow, it was not located on property.

Cpl. Baldwin, criminal mischief, FM 779; property owner found two windows broken at residence, did not have suspects, case forwarded to investigations.

Cpl. Baldwin, protection order violation; caller’s ex-husband was not to contact; provided text messages where he had, victim wished to pursue charges, case forwarded to investigations.

One animal call.

November 18

Deputy Whisenhunt, assault, County Road 3978; while victim was driving, someone began tailgating, drove up beside her, threw something at vehicle, victim pulled over, suspect vehicle turned around, confronted victim, victim was grabbed on left arm, managed to escape from suspect. 

Deputy Morrison, traffic stop, FM 17; observed vehicle missing front license plate, rear license plate expired, driver advised there was marijuana in vehicle, located during search. Due to driver going to hospital, offense report filed. 

Deputy Way and Deputy Croney, suspicious person, FM 312; homeowner advised someone ran into house, still inside. Deputies located, detained individual, second neighbor advised suspect also went into her house, knife located later. William Merchant, 41, Winnsboro arrested for criminal trespass.

November 19

Deputy Croney, disturbance, County Road 1813; victim delivering mail, suspect blocked her in driveway, threatened her, suspect advised she never touched victim, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Rapp, assault, County Road 1600; as victim was picking up sister, grandmother confronted her, pulled her hair, victim able to get away, would like to file charges, case forwarded to investigations. 

Deputy Whisenhunt and Deputy Morrison, stolen vehicle, FM 49; received call of stolen vehicle at residence, located it, person stated she owned the truck, was going through divorce, vehicle towed, awaiting owners to pick it up

November 20

Deputy Whisenhunt, burglary, FM 2869; while victim making delivery at store, someone stole items out of vehicle. Security footage showed suspect, worker at store provided address, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Way and Deputy Morrison, terroristic threat call, Hwy. 37; property caretaker was at residence, when former tenant’s ex-husband showed up, demanded entrance to storage building, threatened victim, had been threatened in past, case forwarded to investigations.

Three animal calls, two agency assists.

November 21

Deputy Rapp, assault, FM 14; two customers got into physical altercation, one knocked out, suspect left scene before deputies’ arrival, victim did not wish to pursue charges.

Deputy Burdick, disturbance, Holiday Villages; parties separated, advised their dogs got into fight, both owners began getting physical to separate dogs. One owner threatened the others, neither party wished to pursue charges.

Cpl. Baldwin, theft, County Road 3289; victim hired someone to do work, showed him items that were for sale. When victim came back, believes she saw suspect taking items, provided list of stolen items, case forwarded to investigations. 

November 22

Cpl. Baldwin, suspicious person, County Road 2267; caller working on house, person kept walking up to him, pushed him, suspect located at different residence, admitted to being on narcotics. Richard Scott, 54, Grand Saline arrested for public intoxication.

Sgt. Cox, warrant service, Holly Lake Ranch. Brandon Borchert, 34, Hawkins arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Gould, burglary, FM 779; when homeowner came home from work, noticed the front door open, items missing, does not have serial numbers, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Hughes, theft, County Road 1975; victim went hunting, firearms missing from vehicle, saw neighbor walk onto property, believes he may have taken firearms, case forwarded to investigations.
