May 24

Cpl. Cooper, warrant service, FM 49; Richard Willoughby arrested, outstanding warrant.

Deputy Pollard, cows out, CR 1900; unable to contact owner, incident report completed. 

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Rapp, Deputy Way, burglary in progress; two vehicles leaving residence with stolen appliances and vehicle, owner will provide vehicle information.

Deputy Arellano, suspicious circumstance, CR 2110; caller advised he was seeing and hearing things, admitted using meth to stay awake. Charles Stone arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia.

May 25

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Croney, warrant service, CR 3811; homeowner gave permission to search residence, suspect Jordan Coyne located hiding in closet, arrested for outstanding warrant.

Cpl. Cooper, assault, Private Road 7545; victim assaulted by male who bit finger, threw phone causing injuries, suspect stated he was assaulted as well, no visible injuries; Donnell Garner arrested for assault.

Deputy Rapp, theft; victim stated lawnmower stolen from residence, did not have serial numbers.

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Cooper, disturbance, CR 1431; victim did not want suspect coming into residence, tried to stop him, suspect pepper sprayed him, pointed machete at him, threw hammer, hitting victim. Lee Lavell arrested for assault with deadly weapon.

May 26 

Sgt. Cox, theft, CR 2791; victim advised firearm missing from vehicle, entered as stolen.

Lt. Milbourn, Sgt. Cox, warrant service, CR 1560. Ethan Ralph arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Skinner, theft; caller stated son loaned vehicle to someone, hasn’t brought it back. Deputy advised suspect to bring vehicle back that day.

Child struck by vehicle, inside ambulance en route to helicopter when deputies arrived, mother advised she did not see child run out behind vehicle, hospital advised child stable and alert.

May 27 

Sgt. Cox, theft, CR 2389; firearm missing from vehicle, reported stolen.

Cpl. Baldwin, identity theft, CR 1886; caller received four credit hits for purchases he didn’t make, including vehicle from dealership that was told to place a hold on transaction. 

Deputy Hughes, incident; caller advised vehicle stopped by residence, pointed light at her, pointed gun at her, did not wish to pursue charges.

Deputy Hughes, traffic stop, CR 2150; passenger Frankie Clanton had active warrant, taken into custody.

May 28 

Sgt. Cox, suspicious person, CR 2720; caller observed male walking on property, told to stay while police arrived, tried to flag down vehicles to leave, said property owner threatened to shoot him; male trespassed from property.

Cpl. Baldwin, theft, CR 1452; vehicle stolen, owner provided ID number, entered as stolen.

Deputies, missing person, Hwy. 154; caller stated wife walked out of house, missing for hours, neighbor saw someone sitting in ditch down road. Deputies located missing person, checked by EMS, returned home.

Sgt. Mayer, Deputy Comeaux, suspicious object, CR 1813; property owner located toy-sized cabin with unspent round in it, collected to be further examined at sheriff’s office.

Cpl. Burdick, structure fire, CR 3195; firemen believed due to electrical issues, property owner believes possibly arson due to him being undercover cop years ago, fire marshal notified.

May 29 

Deputy Croney, welfare check, CR 2195; caller dropped off child at father’s but worried because she thinks he is under the influence and felon with firearm. Deputy checked residence, firearm located, but ex-husband allowed to have it due being off parole more than five years, incident report completed for ex-husband possibly carrying firearm on public roadway.

Deputy Croney, criminal mischief, CR 2270; vehicle received front bumper damage, victim thinks someone tried to steal it in the night.

Cpl. Rapp, terroristic threat, CR 1600; victim was messaging cousin who sent multiple threats, victim stated she was in fear, wished to pursue charges.

May 30

Deputy Croney, theft; caller believes someone has been entering house stealing tools, residence placed on extra patrol.

Sgt. Morrison contacted by jail staff, advised inmate carried drugs inside his person. Lee Lavell charged with prohibited substance in correctional facility.

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Cooper, brandishing firearm, Hwy. 69; victim pulled into gas station, car pulled up, pointed gun at her. Deputies located suspect vehicle, odor of marijuana present, deputies located marijuana in vehicle. Zachery Aleman arrested for possession of marijuana, aggravated assault with deadly weapon.

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Pollard, suicidal subject, Holiday Village; caller stated girlfriend had taken handful of pills. Deputies checked pill bottle, did not appear to be missing pills, victim transported to receive treatment.

Deputy Way, suspicious person, CR 4510; someone taking down carport, not supposed to be on property, suspect stated he had wrong address, advised to put carport back up.
