June 14

Deputy Kovic, Deputy McGee, disturbance, Hwy. 154. EMS advised male and female fighting, both parties advised they had been dancing. EMS provided video of disturbance, Scott Beaird arrested for assault.

Deputy Kovic, Deputy McGee, disturbance, CR 4420; wife stated she was getting belongings, dispute broke out. Witnesses advised wife pushed husband, but she was trying to get into residence. No offense occurred

Deputy Comeaux, theft, CR 4940; two cards hacked, money missing, did not wish to press charges, due to being able to get money back. 

Deputies assisted with multiple wrecks.

June 15

Deputies, five fire agencies, structure fire, CR 1483; occurred after new air conditioning unit installed.

Deputy Skinner, possible drowning, Lake Holbrook; someone rescued victim.

Deputy Whisenhunt, Deputy McGee, suicidal subject, FM 778. EMS reported patient cut wrists, fled scene. Deputies located individual, got him transported for treatment.

Sgt. Mayer, unauthorized use of motor vehicle, FM 17; victim let someone leave in vehicle, received letter that vehicle had been wrecked and impounded, incident report completed.

Deputy Rap, agency assist, CR 2297; Bowie County trooper located elderly man confused how to get home. Deputy made contact with family who located subject.

June 16

Deputy Croney, disturbance, FM 778; during argument, male struck female in forehead causing pain. Jonell Holland arrested for assault.

Deputy Pollard, terroristic threat, Private Road 6278; victim received texts from someone claiming to be bounty hunter, stated if victim did not provide credit card she would be harmed.

Deputy Pollard, incident; father advised he picked up child from grandparent’s house, observed multiple bruises. CPS contacted due to visible injuries to child.

Lt. Milbourn, Cpl. Cooper, EMS assist, CR 3273; victim had been cutting down tree that fell on him, removed from under tree, transported for treatment.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Way, disturbance, CR 4536; caller went to father’s residence, father was in driveway, pulled victim out of vehicle, victim struck him, then was assaulted by the father. Chad Ivey arrested for assault.

June 17

Cpl. Cooper, Deputy Pollard, intoxicated driver, FM 288; located vehicle in ditch, driver passed out. Antonio Lopez arrested for DWI 3rd or more.

Deputy Pollard, assault, CR 1977; victim stated while at board meeting, another member put hands on her, suspect given citation for assault.

Cpl. Cooper, Deputy Croney, intoxicated driver, Hwy. 80; located driver who had outstanding warrant. Stacy Mooney arrested for warrant.

Deputy Croney, burglary, CR 2180; someone entered shed, stole multiple tools, case forwarded to investigations.

Cpl. Rapp, traffic stop, Lake Holbrook; after field sobriety tests, driver Jeremy Smith arrested for DWI.

June 18

Cpl. Cooper, Deputy Pollard, suicidal subject, FM 69; caller’s husband threatened to harm himself, male refused to come out of residence, stated he would harm himself. Deputies removed male from residence, transported to receive treatment.

Cpl. Cooper, traffic stop, CR 4570; driver Samuel Morris found to have active warrant, arrested. 

Cpl. Cooper, animal cruelty, CR 3802; male called Sheriff’s Office, advised he had drowned someone’s puppies. Deputy located 12 puppies in trash bag, nine were deceased, suspect Jerry Thompson arrested on nine charges of animal cruelty. Three puppies found alive taken by owner to be cared for.

June 19

Cpl. Baldwin, assault, FM 852; victim advised he had bond conditions preventing him from speaking to suspect, so he recorded incident when she came to his house, suspect hit victim with long ruler, fled the scene, offense report completed.

Deputy Hughes, welfare check, CR 1975; neighbor advised friend had been sick, just got home from hospital. Deputies unable to make contact with subject, after forced entry, deputies located him deceased.

Deputy Hughes, smoke investigation, CR 4640; homeowner advised smoke alarm going off, observed smoke in garage. When deputy opened garage door, observed fire in electrical box.

June 20

Deputy Kovic spoke to board members of an organization who advised another member admitted taking $123,000 in the last two years, suspect did not wish to speak to deputy.

Cpl. Baldwin, theft, Private Road 8563; caller stated male entered deceased parents’ residence, took multiple items. 

Deputy Rapp, fraud; caller advised someone had opened Home Depot account in their name, charging over $5,000, case forwarded to investigations.

Cpl. Burdick, animal complaint, CR 1917; property owner stated neighbor’s horse had gotten out again, was on his property, horse owner unable to put up horse, deputies got it to go back through hole in fence.
