June 28

Deputy Kovic, follow up, Hwy. 37; deputy shown video of felon openly carrying firearm off his property, case forwarded to investigations.

Sgt. Mayer, Deputy Comeaux, Deputy Rapp, missing person; family advised son missing several hours, unable to locate. Deputies searched around residence, unable to locate, neighbor advised they may have seen him at Walmart earlier, deputies contacted Mineola PD to assist. Mineola PD located subject at Walmart, returned to residence. APS contacted.

Sgt. Mayer, Deputy Hughes, criminal trespass, Hawkins; deputies located male in residence who advised he has stayed there before. Deputies learned male did not have permission, removed, building secured.

Sgt. Mayer, Deputy Comeaux, agency assist; deputies contacted about death notification, located, notified family.

June 29

Animal complaint, CR 2146. Multiple calls received about aggressive dogs, deputies unable to locate any dogs in area.

Cpl. Baldwin, assault; caller stated patient made outcry that she had been assaulted by husband, victim advised to come to sheriff’s office to make report. 

Lt. Milbourn, Deputy Rapp, missing person, Mineola; caller advised husband who has medical issues missing several hours, phone pinged in another county, contacted to check residence, deputies made contact with husband who advised he was OK.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Hughes, disturbance, CR 4890; deputies spoke to both parties and witness, determined both would be arrested for assault, Marisa Faulkner, Jonathan Dowda, arrested for assault

Cpl. Burdick, traffic stop, Hwy. 37; driver observed trying to hide glass pipe. Due to driver’s medical condition, warrant will be filed later.

June 30

Sgt. Morrison, warrant service, PR 8574. Dawn Odom  arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Croney, found property; victim reported firearm missing while on a trip, located firearm in her residence after she forgot she removed it from vehicle.

Sgt. Williams, identity theft, FM 1843; victim received bank card from bank she hasn’t used in over 25 years, card, account canceled.

July 1

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Croney, animal complaint, CR 3802; dog shot, dumped. Lake Country Animal Clinic contacted to assist putting animal down, incident report completed.

Deputy Arellano, disturbance, PR 6883; victim advised suspect left residence intoxicated, driving to Mineola. Mineola PD contacted, located male who fled from officers in vehicle. Mineola PD later arrested suspect for DWI, evading arrest. 

Deputy Comeaux overheard disturbance; male stated female began arguing, kept asking for keys, when the male threw keys at female, she stepped in front of them breaking her tooth. No offense occurred.

Deputy Hughes, traffic stop, equipment violation; one passenger found to have active warrant, arrested.

Cpl. Rapp, Deputy Smith, disturbance, CR 3234; mother refused to give any information about incident, son had mark around neck where mother pulled necklace off. Crystal Hobbs arrested for assault.

Deputy Hughes, Deputy Smith, suspicious vehicle, CR 3440; driver Chad Wallace had active warrant, arrested.

Deputy Smith, traffic stop; driver, Jennifer Darlene admitted having meth, arrested for possession of controlled substance.

July 2

Deputy Croney, scam, Hwy. 80; victim’s mother spoke to someone about rental property on social media, suspect requested deposit for house, after receiving money, quit talking to victim, case forwarded to investigations.

Lt. Milbourn, vehicle driving recklessly, attempted to pull over, fled, after vehicle stopped, David Combs arrested for evading arrest.

Deputy Smith, disturbance, FM 852; caller said ex-girlfriend tried to hit him with car, then advised she just flipped him off, no offense occurred.

Deputy Arellano, burglary of vehicle, CR 2302; flashlight, wallet stolen from vehicle, case forwarded to investigations.

July 3

Stolen vehicle, Lake Hawkins; someone stole caller’s dirt bike during night, did not have serial numbers.

Deputy Hughes, stolen vehicle, CR 3440; owner advised he took two people he just met to store, when he went inside, they drove off in vehicle, entered as stolen.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Comeaux, disturbance, PR 5534; two subjects intoxicated, had been shoving each other during night, parties separated for the night.

Deputy Rapp, Deputy Hughes, disturbance, CR 2310; victim’s brother showed up at house unannounced, had been criminally trespassed previously. After assaulting victim, fled scene, deputies unable to locate, offense report completed for assault, criminal trespass.

Deputy Way, traffic stop, Lake Holbrook; driver found to be intoxicated. Marcius Kinnaird arrested for DWI.

July 4

Deputy Whisenhunt, Lake Hawkins, missing person; grandfather who had health issues missing from residence. As search began, family learned another member took him to Dallas.

Sgt. Mayer, assault, CR 3440; victim advised she wanted boyfriend removed from house, did not want to press charges, victim refused to provide information on suspect.

Deputy Hughes, traffic stop, CR 3469; small baggie of marijuana located, driver Julian Rodriguez arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia, passenger Alexander Pineda arrested for outstanding warrant.

Sgt. Mayer, theft, Hwy. 37; victim set wallet on counter to help son with something, when he came back, wallet was gone, victim provided possible suspect.

Lt. Milbourn, traffic stop, CR 2263; Travis Moody arrested for outstanding warrants.
