November 8

Deputy Whisenhunt, animal welfare concern; deputy observed horse in poor condition, contact made with owner who advised it was very old, advised to have it checked at vet to ensure it is not suffering.

Cpl. Croney, Deputy Cato, disturbance, Private Road 5551; caller advised female at residence causing verbal argument, made threats, suspect had active trespass warning, due to victim inviting suspect over, no offense occurred.

Sgt. Williams, theft, FM 14; property owner stated someone stole tree stand, deer feeder, case forwarded to investigations.

November 9

Sgt. Morrison, Deputy Pollard, missing elderly individual; caller advised husband who has dementia had left residence, did not need to be driving. Mineola PD notified, located male at bank, transported to residence.

Cpl. Smith, terroristic threat; caller stated husband was possibly threatened, when deputy asked to speak to victim, wife said he was asleep, unable to talk, no other information. 

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Smith contacted by store employees in Mineola, advised female, small daughter had been outside store for hours, female, showed signs of possibly being intoxicated, determined under the influence of prescription narcotics. Victoria Wylie arrested for outstanding warrant.

November 10

Cpl. Rapp, theft, FM 49; victim advised friend stole credit cards from wallet, used twice in two cities, victim advised to start process to contact city where card was used.

Cpl. Rapp, theft; caller stated neighbors keep walking by house with empty back pack, when they return it is always full, possible address where items have been taken put on extra patrol.

Deputy Haley, assault, CR 2129;  victim advised when he and wife came home, daughter locked them out, when victim was able to get door open, daughter charged at him, he was able to hold her to keep the situation from escalating, while victim holding daughter, she assaulted him, victim did not wish to pursue charges.

Cpl. Burdick, assault, Hwy. 154; caller advised he had been following vehicle, when they came to intersection, driver got out, struck him. Deputies located suspect who advised nothing happened, victim will provide dash cam video.

November 11

Cpl. Rapp, theft, CR 2740; property owner’ neighbor has taken multiple items from storage building, did not wish to pursue charges.

Cpl. Rapp, suspicious circumstance, CR 2210; someone placed for sale sign in caller’s residence window attempting to sell it, is not trying to sell house, has not given anyone permission to do so. 

Cpl. Rapp, criminal trespass, CR 3440; callers recently purchased residence, neighbor does not believe they own it, previous owners did not wish to criminally trespass subjects.

November 12

Sgt. Cox, Cpl. Rapp, deceased subject; deputies located male who appeared to have overdosed, located used syringe, baggy with crystal-like substance, autopsy ordered. 

Cpl. Rapp, criminal mischief, CR 2958; someone cut two truck tires, three power cords, case forwarded to investigations.

Deputy Comeaux, burglary, CR 2370; someone stole air compressor from storage building, offense report completed.

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Comeaux, disturbance, Hwy. 69; both parties advised they had been assaulted by a male, male victim did not wish to pursue charges, female did. Due to female’s story not being consistent, no charges filed. CPS contacted due to 2-year-old involved in altercation.

November 13 

Deputy Pollard, fraud; caller advised girlfriend received check in mail from new online job she started. After caller deposited check, determined it was scam, sent money back, original check never cleared, incident report completed. 

Deputy Cato, criminal trespass, CR 3497; caller wished to trespass someone from property, deputy issued trespass warning.

November 14

While deputies patrolling, heard what they believed to be verbal altercation, located male who advised he had marijuana on his person, put marijuana cigarette in his mouth, deputies attempted to detain, began to resist. Christopher Campbell arrested for tamper/fabricate physical evidence and resisting arrest.

Cpl. Croney, Deputy Cato, terroristic threat, Hwy. 37; victim could hear neighbor making threats through fence, suspect advised deputies he was talking to trees, offense report completed.

Sgt. Williams, Cpl. Smith, welfare concern, FM 2659; female advised during argument, she pulled out gun, put it to her head, then shot two times near victim, offense report completed.

Deputy Rich, Quitman ER; nurses advised intoxicated male pulled out IV’s, attempted to leave, Jason Alexander arrested for public intoxication.
