March 20

Deputy Skinner, traffic hazard, FM 17; deputy located several trailers parked on the state right-of-way, trailers towed from property.

Cpl. Smith, runaway juvenile; mother advised daughter left residence with possible suspect, provided address, address searched, juvenile not located, entered as missing. 

Deputy Nichols, protection order violation; victim advised male whom she had protection order against was coming onto property, showed pictures on game camera of suspect on property, will provide copy of protection order to verify restrictions.

March 21

Deputy Skinner, criminal mischief, Holiday Village; company that homeowner hired damaged heat and air unit, report will be completed later.

Cpl. Rapp, property dispute, CR 4627; caller placed t-post in driveway, subject moved out of way, subject provided documents showing he owned the property, caller could not.

Cpl. Rapp, follow up; Pittsburg PD located missing Wood County juvenile, mother picked her up, CPS contacted. 

Cpl. Rapp, Deputy George, runaway juvenile, located juvenile in vehicle, brought back to residence, Juvenile Probation contacted. 

March 22 

Cpl. Croney, Quitman ER, assault; victim assaulted by boyfriend, had multiple bruises, did not wish to pursue charges, advised an offense report would be completed. 

Cpl. Burdick, Deputy Williams, structure fire; structure fully engulfed, no one inside, fire marshal notified.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Rich, Deputy Cato, juvenile issue; parents advised they tried to restrain daughter because she was attempting to run away. Due to juvenile being on probation, deputies were contacted, advised to place her in custody, arrested for assault family violence and resisting arrest.

March 23

Sgt. Morrison, Cpl. Croney, disturbance, FM 14; male and female arguing, deputies spoke with female who stated male became upset, broke her phone, struck her with water bottle. Taylor Christensen arrested for assault.

Deputy Cato, theft; caller stated firearm stolen from vehicle, entered as stolen.

Cpl. Croney, theft, CR 2112; someone stole firearm from vehicle, possibly related to previous theft call, entered as stolen.

Deputies, shots fired, CR 2153; victim’s boyfriend became upset, threatened her, shot multiple times into ground toward relative, when contacted, he resisted. Catan Runyan arrested for assault on public servant, aggravated assault with deadly weapon and deadly conduct. 

March 24

Cpl. Croney, pedestrian stop, Hwy. 37; one of the subjects found to have active warrant. Zachariah Matthews arrested for outstanding warrant.

Deputy Williams, terroristic threat, CR 1818; caller found to have active warrant. Justin Cowart arrested for outstanding warrant.

Sgt. Williams, Deputy Cato, request to speak; victim found Apple AirTag in vehicle, wanted it fingerprinted, believes boyfriend placed it in vehicle due to having issues recently.

March 25

Deputy Nichols, animal complaint, FM 1254; property owner stated dog entered property, killed several goats, incident report completed.

Lt. Kovic, theft; victim recently had firearm entered as stolen, located it inside residence.

Cpl. Rapp, assault, Jarvis; student assaulted victim by putting arm around her neck, victim stated it did not cause her pain, will decide if she wants to press charges.

Deputy Way, EMS assist; EMS had already transported subject, advised she had laceration to head from falling, deputy spoke with victim’s grandmother who stated victim jumped out of vehicle to get away from man who was assaulting her, deputy located clothing in roadway, blood from victim, victim refused to give information, case forwarded to investigations.

March 26

Sgt. Cox, warrant service, Adult Probation. Jesse Weems arrested for outstanding warrant. Kevin Larsson arrested for three outstanding warrants.

Deputy Skinner, theft, Holiday Villages; someone stole mower from victim’s property, entered as stolen.

Cpl. Smith, Deputy Way, disturbance, Hwy. 154; restaurant owner advised male and female assaulted him during altercation, did not wish to pursue charges. Howard and Wendy Rollins arrested for public intoxication.

Sgt. Cox, animal complaint; caller re-homed dog to woman, due to it being in heat, she brought it back, deputy spoke to the party, will pick up dog.
